How important are Tier 3 links?

its no must ..... but some make 14 tiers and say ist useful

Tier 3 is based on quantity, it helps when it comes to SEO. Tier 2 is decent quality, but without any support from Tier 3 it won't be of that much help.

yes,use them if u want your site penalized quick, not sure why after last g00gle update i got 2 sites pretty quick when i start building tier 2-3 links.sites was just fine til i start tier 2 and tier 3,looks like i will not do it again for a while

They are Importent, and they bring a lot power but only if you can use your Brain. I saw a lot of People actualy Building Tiered link Campaigns they built for tier 1 Some high Quality Blog Comments, Few web 2.0s, some unique Social Bookmarks, and some other kind of links. So they Built lets say 100 Links per keyword as T1 over 90 days, okey so far nothing wrong with that. But then they started Building Tier 2 Links to all these Links. They built all kind of links lets say another 200 Links to every T1 Link. This is in Theorie also fine. So now they thought okey, I build now T3 Links like a bastard and they did. They Build 500 Links per T2 Link and also I have to say, nothing wrong with that. And then they watched the Serps, They got nearly Zero Improovements. So they started telling me, that Tiered link Building is Crap and don't work anymore. So I took a look at what they did. On first view it looks fine, they have many links over differential tiers, but if you look a bit closer, turn on your Brain then you'll see that most of Tier 1 links are Nofollow links. So they wasted a lot of time and money in Building Links to Links who don't pass any linkjuice. Usually if I wouldn't tell them anything they would just keep Building T3 Links to Links that don't pass anything. So better build your links with using your brain than without, and your T3 Links will help you a lot and won't hurt your.

Yes, tier 3 links are important. They are important for link juice and they're important for your backlink profile

totally wrong ,nofollow links don't pass page rank but they still give link juice.getting noffolw+******** backlinks is just normal and natural

If your website keyword is low competitive then no need to build T3. T2 with High PR is Okay for ranking.. But for better ranking i suggest you build mixed links with unique content in T1. And try to build 80% ******** links and at list 20% exact anchor text of your keyword. Hope that will be work!!

You will get a shit ton of replies...

The best way to find out if something works or not is to test it yourself.

Do A/B/C/D split testing and you will get the answer :)

I have only been building Tier 2 links and that is hard enough to manage as it is.

Does anyone recommend a Tier 2 linkbuilder?

Set up multiple domains and try out different strategies to figure out what ones would work best for your niche. People will give you all sorts of answers, all leading to further confusion. If you have good quality tier 1 and reliable range of tier 2s, you could not go wrong with some decent tier 3s to help index tier 2s and show Google they are linked to as well.
