Ok, This morning I woke up and thought; "right, my parents have just got divorced, I miss my old cat, and xmas is coming up...". So, I started think HOW I can make a decent amount of money very quickly. I wanted something that is almost instant, worth my time, will make AT LEAST $1k a week.

So, I had a good think about it, put some Grindcore and Rap-metal on very loud and it came to me! Private blog networks!! This is something everyone is after these days, and people are paying good money for them right now, even in this forum. So I went about researching how to make, build manage all this type of stuff. So 1 hour later, went over to Google and did some domain research, found a nice bunch of domains, good PR and so on. Bought them, installed them into my management program, put a nice custom theme on, did some other customization. And BAM DONE! 3 hours into my idea I have a tasty Private network!

Now it's time to sell them!!!

Now, I have great offline contacts, and this is where I will go. I will use direct mail (a method I use all the time to get new clients for my web design services and other SEO services). Simply put together a sales letter and send it off to all my ususal clients, and my nice CSV of prospective clients.

After this I will wait for the emails/calls to come in, I will have all my sales patter sorted, then it's time to rake in all the clients. Simple as that.

    So let's recap:
What I needed to set up:
    1. 20 domains: £90
    2. 5 C class IP hosting: £15 a month
    3. 1 Management subscription: £35 month ( if anyone has a free alternative PLEASE TELL ME!! :) )
    4. Lots of paper
    5. Lots of ink
    6. Lots of stamps

Ok, so now I need to sort my pricing. A tactic I use (and I bet many of you use) is think of a price that is worth it for myself, and make that the "double discounted" price. So for example:
I will sell this service for £10 a month or £100 a year. So I will SAY.. WAS £30 a month, now £25.. Xmas OFFER: £20!! First 10 customers get 50% off EVERYHING!! £10 a month. ;) People love it!! :D
One other thing I will be saying is LIMITED to 50 places! (which I will easily be able to sell within 3 weeks)

    So overall:
I spent 4 hours thinking, planning, action and now I am ready to make my bank balance bigger! :) I will be looking at AT LEAST £5000 in my bank by the 25th, and will be having a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!

This method (if you can call it that), should also bring in lot's of residual monthly income. Plus if this goes well, I shall be making this -BIG-! :)

Research is key :) wasn't too hard tbh. Just look for expired domains, copy a nice range of them and register. Internet.bs is only £5.56 for .com/org and £4.37 for .net. :)

Nice! Hope it will work for you!

Expired domains? Very hard to find the good ones! All the "find expired domains" websites filter out the good ones.

Hmm, I did not know that. Either way, I have 20 domains from PR2 - PR4. Which is more than enough to get me started.

If anyone knows of any tutorials to find good domains, I will be happy to read it! :D

You can just sell the method to find "domains with PR for the price of new domain" as ebook and make good cash.

Well , As Architecture student I can confirm this is 100% , not talking about the method its the first 2 lines. Thinking a lot at first will save you a lot of time later.
My exam can be like 7 hours , I spend maybe 5 hours with a white clean paper just thinking and in 2 hours it's full ( you are designing a project and solving problems so its the main idea here ) and I'm always first at this subject at least. Good Luck and hope to See you later posting your Earnings :)

Pretty ambitious goal... I too would like to know where you're getting your expired domains list.

    Good luck.

    50 x £10 is £500 not £5000. Am I missing something?

I checked PR. I checked all the PR and checked them over 5 times to make sure it's sticking!

Yeah you are :) , I plan to sell MORE £100 yearly, or bi-yearly to clinch them, maybe even one off fee :). £100 x 50 IS £5000 .

Thank you, I will be updating, and may carry this on further than Christmas :)

Glad you all support me so far.

Nice, I didn't realise you had such strong contacts. You could even throw in a promise to expand the blog network throughout the next year - I'm sure this would help convince people!

Letter complete! :D for my bigger clients I took the time to add in their ranks from SEORush. And said how how much better they would be if they were to invest in me.

And then after that, I bought 12 more domains, many PR4. So now I have a decent pile of 32 domains, which I am going to split into 2 groups. So now I should be able to make £10k! Well maybe, but that means I need 100 customers. So yes, I built my self up for the future :)

I will update on my first sales by tomorrow! :)
