How I went from $1.80/mo to $720/mo

OK - So I've decided to have a punt.

I ordered and the service was commissioned in 40 minutes

Not bad so far

well i see dedi with 8 gigs of ram etc for an equivalent of $70 not 50 but 20 more for a dedi over a cheap vps ..

Hard to believe a complete noob could come up with this let alone set it up. I think the friend you mention set this up.

LOL -Please point me to the place I can get a dedi @ $49/mo and I'll switch. Furthermore. How would I possibly host more than 4 people on one 2GB VPS... and expect then to sub-host under me? You obviously know nothing about networking... even less than I do and that's saying alot
Explain why that hosting company domain is registered 15 days ago, if you're "doing it for several months now", as you say in your first post in this thread?
That's the main point of my post which you haven't answered and a proof that your "method" is here just to promote that hosting company.

I won't bother finding dedicated servers for $49, but they do exist. I'll just quote @judoson so you can see how cheap dedis are:
Just yesterday, I got a 16Gb, i7 2600 (quad core with Xeon like benchmarks), with XenServer, for just 50 euros (1st mth, 100 euros after), on a 100Mbs pipe, with unlimited traffic.

The main Idea is great, there is many other ways to do that.

Just Think out of the Box ;)

Good method, but this does not have unlimited potential. Your time has to be considered . We don't have unlimited time in a given day. The more you sell, the more of your time is consumed with Sys Admin work. I wouldn't go the VPS route.. you can buy off lease servers dirt cheap, with 8 gigs, dual sockets. Drop it into a local colo for double the cost of your vps and you now have 5x's selling power and your own hardware. I like the idea but will entail more work after you exceed X number of sales.

Well I bought one of here new fangled VPS from the recommended site and yup it came up nice and easy.

It is however, darned slow. I installed a proxy gathering program and its faster on my home computer.

Also I issued a (paid) challenge to the OP eastwick to install the virtualisation on my VPS.

He doesnt respond and so I suspect this thread was a disguised sales thread.

Not too happy!

Well, I do think it was a sales thread. Now, you are at the bottom of this chain.

Dedicated server -> Hypervisor -> OS 1 -> VM -> OS2 -> VM -> OS 3 -> Your applications.

I have never tried to run a setup like that, and while it might technically 'run', as I pointed out in my first post, it is going to be stupidly slow. Get your money back already.

I would have to say I am satisfied with the speed of BlackBox. Also comes with free proxies very nice.
