Gambling isn't a business and you can't make money from gambling, because you're it's um, gambling.
I remember seeing a thread on bhw asking people to do simple arithmetic and like 40% got it wrong, so really it's no wonder that people think you can make money with gambling with "systems" and "not chasing losses". That's all just crap.
Games like roulette are just a way for you to bleed money. You'll bleed 5-11%(depending on the type of roulette) of your bankroll over time. Sometimes you'll win, sometimes you'll lose, but mathematically it's around 5-11% you'll end up losing over many hands.
Even with sports you're up against the bookmakers who calculate the odds with mathematicians and computer systems. It's very hard to consistently beat them. Unless you're a better mathematician and can manage to come up with an algorithm that successfully incorporates more variables then you're not going to consistently win.
None of this is business. It's just a fool's game. The type of fool who wants a quick buck. You make money by providing value, plain and simple.
