How I survived Panda 3.3 – An Optimization Guide - HARDWORK REVEALED

sorry for being a noob,

but what is the program you used for the first 2 pics? looks useful for backlinks..

Hey man, thanks for taking the time to format your post; very well written and I'm sure it will be helpful to many people.

To me, link diversity and link velocity are the key to avoiding panda (as well as having some decent quality links point to the site). It seems that people pound one platform or two really hard, when they should be trying to hit all kinds of various platforms. Depending on how (and where) I do blasts, I will vary the main KW more than what you suggest above, but this is because I'm throwing in a bunch of LSI keywords. I think anchor variation is super important; it should be obvious that your site has "unnatural" activity when 80% of your backlinks use the same anchor.

With regard to your 301 method, and blasting the crap out of the new domain and then 301ing it, this is fairly new to me (I use aged domains for this very reason), I might have to try it out with a new domain.

What site are you using to track those backlinks like that??

One of the best posts on the Forum, we really missed informative threads on BHW lately.
Thanks and Rep+

Thanks for your hard work. Is there a limit (your best guess) to the number of domains that I can 301 to the main site? Let's say I will 301 as many as 10 domains to the main site, are there any risks?

I don't think we have seen the end of Panda and the big G's attempt to shake out the SEO algos that they will find and deindex.

Good read and ideas in your method. Keep us informed of your results in the future.

Great read. Really appreciate the time you took to write it out and the information you provided.

Thanks.

This thread has turned into one of the shitty blog comment sites that panda is slapping.

Whats with all the "great post" comments??????

If you have nothing to add or ask the OP then move along, there is a thanks button for showing your appreciation, we don't need 50 posts telling the op what a great post it is.

Jeez it's not rocket science

For those who are asking, the first 3 images were from ahrefs.com..

OP, thanks, great post!

I have a question, I wanted to change my .org domain to its .com counterpart (its available finally!) but I'm having second thoughts cause my money site is already 2 years old, PR 2. Its a whitehat site and not a MNS.

Do you think it is more beneficial to just drop the old name and 301 it to the new domain before continuing with my backlink campaigns?? I haven't redirect domains before so I'm abit hesitant and careful with all these panda updates.

Thanks!!

damn, this is a really good write-up. I do something very similar and none of my sites have ever been hit by Panda.

I wish you didn't post this! Don't need G finding out about our strategies. :D

Great post Harsh. A lot of eye openers.

After seeing the positive movement I blasted another 2K SB blast after 5 days and BOOM

Don't you think SB comments were responsible for the "BOOM" and not the link velocity per se? I mean SB blasts directed to the money site have been fatal since the Panda.

Great post and thanks for the effort but Im not convinced on the 301s, 88 is a huge amount and a footprint IMHO, I reckon half a dozen max, I have been watching a competitor who used this technique and he ranked hard and fast and now is gone, might be dancing but I think the huge amount of 301s he done tripped the algo.

Some interesting stuff here, 301 redirecting is not right for me because I run sites for clients and I can't go around setting up 301's but I get the method.

What is the software you are using in the screen shots

I don't see why you can't.. You needn't add 50-100 301 domains. 1 or 2 can do the Job.

For screen shots: ahrefs.com/

How did you find out that panda has visited your site ?

I keep a track of SERP changes every hr. thanks to micrositemasters.com

Excellent Post.

Though not clear about your comment on the content part.
Are you ranking with duplicate content and just with the power of backlinks.

Which software is this for backlink analysis.

As I said, you need to pass 100% copyscape. I never promote the use of duplicate content. For backlinks analysis: ahrefs.com/

There's usually remains of bamboo leaves....

OP, great post. Thanks for going into this so thoroughly. I'd rather go without the spun content just in case of a manual review or a competitor snitching on you.

If it's a big niche where you can earn big money (eg. insurance) then get some good LSI writers. They charge anywhere between $10-$20 per article. If you are targeting a micro niche like (eg: Get rid of bed bugs) where there's a less chance of a manual review, you can use spunned content provided they are readable and copyscape passed. articlebuilder.net is a great source.

ahrefs.com/

ahrefs.com/ . Majesticseo and opensiteexplorer also helps.

Forces me to come up with another informative thread very soon. Thanks man.

I don't think there's any risk.. (going by the 3rd image) but I would always prefer taking baby steps.

This thread has turned into one of the shitty blog comment sites that panda is slapping.

That's one thing that's helping this thread to stay alive on the 1st page. Without those "great post" comments, it would have hit the 7th-8th page already.

Am thankful to all those who have contributed to keep this thread alive.

I won't suggest that.. I prefer .org domains more than .com but both carries equal value.

You can try this... Host the .com domain with a different IP.. Push some quality content and try getting them indexed and do your usual SEO. Keep this domain as an insurance for the future.

If your .org gets slapped in the future, you can 301 the .org to the .com. Again, if the .com gets slapped, you can 301 redirect the .com to the .org.

Great post Harsh. A lot of eye openers.

Don't you think SB comments were responsible for the "BOOM" and not the link velocity per se? I mean SB blasts directed to the money site have been fatal since the Panda.

My bad. When I said SB, I meant Social bookmarkings not Scrapebox comments. I have edited in my post. Thanks for your words.. ! :p

Well, 88 is huge but even 2-3 can do a good job. You competitor has been slapped. It can be due to the Huge amount of links OR he must have done something wrong with his money site.. Keeps me guessing.

I have a question. I want to create one big site .. but will buy 30 + EMDs ... blast those EMDs(30 + sattelite sites) and then redirect each of them to the inner pages of my main big site.

For example : my main site is dog dot com .

I will buy for example dogtraining dot com , germanshepperddog dot com, pinscherdog dot com etc ... blast the EMDs and then redirect them to dog dot com/germanshepperddog/, dog dot com/pinscherdog/

Can this be done? Recommended?

Thx

I have redirected a domain/site to my main site . Can I continue bast it every month on regular basis?

I want to blast it instead of my main site .. for security purpose (buffer)

a very informatic post at the right time. Build My Ranks just got deindexed and i think others will follow soon.

Yeah, that's again a good idea.

You can but for me, I didn't find any particular advantage. If you want to use a buffer site then use squidoo.com

a very informatic post at the right time. Build My Ranks just got deindexed and i think others will follow soon.

That sucks.. ! really.......
