    Hello there,

Everyone knows the mail scam tactic which is like "My husband died, I have 100 million dollars in Tanganka, send me 1000 dollars to start the transaction and you will get 1 million of it"

I use many mail addresses on my websites and I was getting sick of them, and at last a noobie scammer from India sent me a message exactly like this matter. Although the mail was sent from India he was pretending he was from a place in Nigeria, so I decided to play with him. Had some conversation with him via mail and he wanted me to send the money to Jaipur via Western Union.

I Googled some Western Union receipts and got it on Photoshop and edited that as it has been sent but not to Jaipur, but to Chennai.

I wasn't expecting him to eat the bait but he did. After 2 weeks he sent me a mesage that he went to the city but no money was sent :)

So I am learning to scam (scammer) people :D

    :)

No way. I hate this scam mails and at least I could play with them. :)

The "people" word was meant to be the scammers, not everyone. Mistaken on that :)

It does get frustrating at times, and it seems like these people have turned it into an industry of sorts! Geez!

I'm too lazy too Google it, how far was it to Chennai?

That's called sending him on safari. Now message him back and tell him that you know the money is not there because you pulled it back and resent it to his uncle who called you and told you to make the changes.

If the guy says you have been scammed (lol) and to resend the money, tell him you don't trust western union anymore and will now use moneygram. Then pretend to send it again to another remote city in the opposite direction because the guy at moneygram told you it will arrive a lot faster to the regional office instead of being rerouted to the actual city.

Moneygram is better btw because payments can't be verified online for their existance.

Just remember, never do more work than the scammer and when things get screwed always say it's their fault.

You didn't scam him, you tricked him. You don't even know if you tricked him. Good on you if you if did actually trick him.

The Op is fooling himself. Nobody goes to WU without calling to check control number and
to insure funds are there. Perhaps the Op has never actually used WU himself.

In fact I think this whole thread is fantasy.

I challenge the op to post the photoshoped WU receipts.

Well most are to shallow and will take any BS you feed them. I just say in my country the new antiterrorist laws require the MTCN not to be present on the receipt and is instead being sent via SMS, fax... by WU or can be seen in your dreams if you write 'I am not a scammer' on a piece of paper and eat it etc.

Here's a sample SC, note the omitted transfer No in the lower left. All I have to do is change the date and call 'neeeext':

Scammers are a bad thing because they give negative reputation to whole countries which in effect makes things for their countrymen even more shittier.
