How i ranked first for hard keywords and generated 10-40k visitors with 0 backlinks

So basically this is my idea on how to properly rank and the best way to steadily maintain it, this will just be a short explanation, i will be glad if you figure something out of it.

So basically one of my Balkan websites is for anime streaming, for anime on Balkans there were like 10 small websites with 500-3000 visitors and one big with 100K visitors a day, the biggest website name was anime serbia, they'd rank whenever you type anime srbija (serbia) on google.

So to surpass them i was thinking what I'd need to do:
They had around 450 anime series
- So we had to pump over that number (We now have 1K)
Their website had many ads etc
- No ads untill we would get big
Website design was okay
- So we needed great design
So after doing everything to make us be better than our competitors it was time to actually get more visitors (Since at the time we had 1k or so visitors).
So we decided to name our site animebalkan (Since basically serbia, croatia, bosnia, macedonia and montenegro all speak same language, lot of them didn't want to watch on website named anime serbia(war and shit in 90s))
By naming our site anime balkan many from those other countries switched to watching on our site( Which pushed us for beginning on 3-5k visitors a day)
Later i started contacting youtubers for anime offering them cooperations , we advertise theme and they advertise us, this way almost every balkan anime youtuber made a video for our website stating that we are the best anome website)
Like this many started searching for our name anime balkan and since were ranked 2-3 we popped on first place. Our CTR was around 30% in entire google search console. We made some of our moderators go to youtube and make tutorial videos on how to watch some animes, we'd make tutorial videos where they'd go on google search for our site name and anime they want to watch. We posted around 1-2k such videos on youtube, many watched them and did exactly so, skyrocketing our click through rate ranking us for 100k+ keywords as almost every anime was ranked on google.
So the moral of this story is that as long as you have good advertisement strategy, you will rank naturally. CTR is the most important thing on google.

but all of those youturbers that promoted your site in the description of their videos did give you backlinks :)

But great job nonetheless, really impressive! And thanks for the blueprint!

How have you conveyed those YouTubers to advertise for you? And in return how you have advertise them?
 
Wow, great inspiration, but also you saw a gap in the market and hustled.

It was my volounteers who made them, so the thing was even if a video has no views it doesn't matters to use, on average each video had only 2-10 views per month but that turned to around 500-5000 new visitors each month and they keep coming to our website after that.

That's one more major factor, my beliefs are that google values links that bring visitors to your website far more than some 'VaLuAbLe Dr/PR/ links bla bla bla"

DR (well, UR if we're talking about individual pages since the pages are the ones giving the backlink) is still a good indication of how valuable a link is, so you shouldn't dismiss it :)

But yes, google does value links with traffic, I never debated this. I only addressed the fact that you said "with 0 backlinks", which is technically not true since backlinks from YT are still backlinks :)

I wasn't trying to argue or insult you, just gave my opinion haha.. I still believe that very high UR links are valuable, but links that bring the traffic to your site are most important

We use ad networks that accept bitcoin, as to not disclose our identities. We don't really have law problems as no one is gonna sue you on the Balkans lol... We usually use in page push ads, sometimes we did banners and video ads as well.
