According to the YT term s of service (www[dot]youtube.com/static?gl=US&template=terms : 5.B):

I am sorry to have to be the one to break the news to you but you left out one of the most important things needed in order for this to work. Traffic. Without traffic your gig is useless. I would know because I have only sold about 2 gigs of mines in months of trying. What's worse is if your gig has a lot of competition with people who have sold multiple of the same gig for months before you then you have too much competition so you won't even make much in sales.

If you are displaying this method for someone who wishes to make a few dollars on the side then great but for someone who needs to make a lot more money or is looking to expand online I wouldn't say fiverr is the best route as competition is very high and profits are very minimum. If you could have provided something to teach people how to get massive amounts of targeted traffic to the gig then I could say this is perfect for anyone but I have tried fiverr for over a year and have not made more then 2 sales despite all the gigs I put up.

I just figured I would post an update since it has been a while since I saw and posted to this thread originally. I'll just say it. Too much competition. There are dozens upon dozens of minion gigs on fiverr related to the despicable me niche. I tried the methods you provided down to a T and did not make any sales. How unfortunate. Fiverr as a whole is the problem if the gig you are offering is already being offered on fiverr and with boatloads of competition like this gig then you basically have a very tough time getting sales and you will be lucky if you get a few sales on the side which was unfortunately not my case. So I am going to take a guess that perhaps when you uploaded this gig the despicable me niche was unheard of or brand new to fiverr making it easier for you to make money.

The trick with fiverr is to have a unique service. Someone mentioned it - too much competition with simple things.

Well that is unfortunate because like you said it was two years ago and two years is a very long time and I would say more than plenty of time for a gig to become saturated from too much competition. Like I said if you were to search fiverr right now and type in despicable me you would notice too much competition. Dozens upon dozens of gigs just like the one you were posted actually I found about 4 that were exactly the same. Maybe 2 years ago when you posted that video and despicable me was still rather new out there this gig would have worked but try it right now with the amount of competition out there I doubt you would come back to me with the same exact number of sales you had back then if not more.

I tried to sell seo services on fiverr, it sells great.

I do not understand why some folks here keep crying that this method does not work. This was posted 2 years ago and you can see so many sellers duplicating exact same gig. Obviously you will have lot of competition.
Instead, just try to understand why this type of gig worked and create a new gig with similar concept. Test Test Test. You will find a winner.

Make your listing stand out, change it up a little. You can offer the same 'service' as two hundred other people but if yours is more appealing, you win.
