How I make $7/day with Amazon 5 minutes work required.

I've never dealed with Amazon. Do they allow such traffic or should I blank or fake the referrer ?

What the heck? How can you guys not be making money doing this?? This works *very* well. Though I promote eBay, not Amazon. And I don't post ads, I reply to ads. No need to worry about getting flagged!! I've made $42,039.67 since April 1st 2008 doing this, just counting the earnings made since eBay left CJ. I also had about seven months of this while eBay was with Commission Junction.

Yes, that's right, a few days made over $250 doing this!! The only reason earnings have tanked since late December is because CraigsList added a URL restriction to E-Mails. Send too many E-mails with the URL and the URL is banned for a while. The little increase that's starting to show up at the end is cause now I'm testing out another way of getting my URL to them...bypass the Craigslist E-mail address.

E-Mail CL posters (The E-Mail message simply says 'Are you still looking? E-Mail me if you still are.') --> They reply back to me. --> I have an automatic reply set up to E-Mail them the URL, and since it will then go to their E-Mail address, and not Craigslist, they get the E-Mail, look at the site, see a huge list of items linking to auctions related to what they are looking for, and click. Now you get paid per click, so they don't even have to buy anything for you to make money.

I rarely go below $250/day.
You may target more your users. You'll get more sales if you target your audience...

Can someone who is using this method these days update it, so we can see if any changes. Looks like the original post was from Dec 2008 and I just want to make sure, if this still works, the same way or if there are any changes with respect to process of Amazon.

Thanks

Hey step-daddy, that avatar is awesome! LOL!

Careful with this method. Be gayly creative. Amazon will rip you one if they find out.

Who pays out by clicks? That's what I dont' get. Ebay doesn't pay by click.

Don't tell eBay that or they'll get offended. It is called QPC. Some innovative crap nobody but them understand. Yes, they pay by click, depending on the mood they or the clickers are, whether they liked ebay's landing page or bought the same item they came to ebay for. EPN is a joke. They can adjust the algorythm in the back room on you and you wouldn't know crap about it. You just didn't perform. Most people there make $0.00 money or few cents. Most have left that place. Their forum is dead.

1) Why to make it look lame?
2) Why should you make it more expensive then it is on amazon when they will purchase via amazon

1. Sign up for an Amazon affiliate account
2. Select an item that is reasonably priced and offers free shipping. i.e. (microwaves)
3. Use site strip to link directly to the product. Then create a text link that says (specs and reviews here)
4. Save 1 crappy image of the item (ideally one submitted by a user)
5. Go to craigslist and create an account
6. Post your item for sale on craigslist and price it a little higher than the item's cheapest price on Amazon. Be sure to include the Amazon link in your craigslist post.
7. Leave the ad alone for 24 hours
8. Login to your Amazon account and see how much you've earned.

At current I'm doing this a couple of cities, but it could be replicated and done in many cities which I'm sure would increase the earnings. The trick is to make your ad look lame and make sure the item cost less on Amazon.

Does everyone do this in multiple cities?

The greatest mistake you can make is to assume that most people will think like you. There are all types of people out there. Common sense but some people just forget.

So what if you were to list the item on CL; maybe price it a little under the Amazon price, and have the would-be buyers e-mail you. When they ask about the product, you tell them it's no longer available but mention it's on sale at Amazon for virtually the same price.

It would seem less odd to send an Amazon link if the buyer thought you were trying to help them out. Plus, chances are the buyer knows it's on Amazon, and since your item sold out so fast, they might just decide to buy it online.

Just doing some brainstorming. No idea if this is actually a better strategy or not.

1 Just put this up on 2-3 cities and no results so far :).

Seems a good method.

agree!!!!!!
my earnings dropped 10 times since their crap happened and I KNOW that my clicks are highly relevant, it's just full disrespect to epn members in my opinion

any sample how exactly do this i have a amazon, affiliate account but don't make any money, i want to try this but i need a sample how to get this link..

Damn brah, I don't think $7 will buy you a mcdonalds combo meal there in Honolulu these days but I guess if you scale it up maybe like someone said you could pay your hosting bill each month. Anyway, thanks for the share. Mahalo
