There is a reason there are so many gold farmers in the game. They would not do it if it did not pay off.
 
This is actually really interesting...

Some of you have probably heard of RuneScape. There are a TON of gold farming sites and easy to get bots to make the gold. I quit the game a while back, but to think (after reading this) I could have been gold farming all those years...

*facepalm*
 
Loved seeing this post. I had a close friend that would grind 5-6 hours a day and eventually trained a team to do this for him in exchange for a percentage. So it is definitely doable. Great to hear about other people making it happen. Have fun guys!
 
I'm also interested if this still works also.
I tried to type my experience like yours but I got an error about moderation system. No choice but to delete all I've typed.
 
Method was shared early on in the thread. You farm for BOE's and then sell them. Find a private party to buy the gold, rinse and repeat!

Couple of things to know:
-High Level Character Required
-Decent ilvl (Gear) required.
-Knowledge of the raids so you can get it done fast (youtube!)
-You need multiple characters to enter the raid so you either need friends or you will ultimately play a game where you set yourself up to loot first. In the latter you generally ditch the group as soon as you get the item and immediately start fresh.
- Know your server's economy (BOE sell for different prices on various servers)

Curious about how you got your buyers without attracted attention of the GM's.
 
This is actually really fucking smart. People should try something similar with league, like account boosting others for payment
