How I Keep My website Safe From Google Update?
in the long run you can't as one of google's updates will still get you...

But you can prolong the illusion by doing a few things...

1) grow your content and backlinks slowly and gradually over 9-12 months instead of blasting your site (especially if it's on a clean, never used before domain name) with 10s of articles and links per day... especially if they're poor quality links, these almost always hurt fresh sites...

2) focus on quality content

When it comes to SEO, quality content can mean a lot of things:

- addressing the intent of the main keyword in great detail (aim for content that's better than the competition)
- using proper grammar and conveying ideas using short sentences (10-20 words long)
- using monotony brakers and attention grabbing stuff (headings, bullet points, images, stats, tables, etc)

3) update / improve your content constantly (I'd say once a month if you can do it)

Follow googles guidelines.

But if you do that.... you'll be only one in the whole world that follows it to a tee...

Unless your Albert Einstein

You can't. You can never be protected on somebody else's platform. They make the rules and they apply the rules. You can try to follow their guidelines and they could still punish you even if it is in error. There is so much variables to the algorithms that you can always fall prey to an update that targets an unrelated "problem" that just happens to hurt you undeservedly. You can't predict that in advance and you can't really insure yourself against that.

Just keep going, learn, adapt and don't forget to diversify, so if one website gets penalized, you have other projects to fall back on. Of course, it's also good to have other traffic sources, not just Google, but those can often be even more fickle.

Focus on quality content, follow SEO best practices, ensure mobile-friendliness, build trusted backlinks, and stay updated on algorithm changes. Monitor analytics and adapt as needed.

Decent content.
That's all.

Never had any BL in my websites, just some social signals

I've read everything you mentioned here guys. Instead of following all Google's words lets focus on analysing the SERPs. All the answers are there.
From my practice — the younger your site the more important to follow Google's guidelines. If you are working with #1 website in your niche and you pay a lot for google ads you can try a bit more of risky strategies (f.e. mass spam on forums + high quality guest posts with real DR and real search traffic, if you know what i mean).

To protect your site from Google updates, focus on high-quality, relevant content and solid user experience. Regularly audit your site to ensure it’s following best SEO practices and Google’s guidelines. Staying updated on algorithm changes and adapting your strategies accordingly will help keep your site secure in the long run.

On-page SEO optimization
Keyword Optimization: Thoroughly research keywords and optimize them naturally in content, titles, meta descriptions, and other HTML tags. Avoid keyword stuffing.
Use SEO-friendly URLs: Your URLs should be short, clearly describe the page content, and contain target keywords.
Compelling title tags and meta descriptions: Make sure each page's title tags and meta descriptions are optimized and accurately describe the page content.

By focusing on high-quality content and a positive user experience while following Google's Webmaster Guidelines, you'll be prepared for most updates.

Create Valuable Content: Write content that is helpful, unique, and answers user intent. Avoid low-value or duplicate content.
E-A-T: Enhance Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness in your content.

Follow the Google Guides, maintain your content quality, and update the article periodically if required. Check your GSC and concentrate on the site Crawling rate, Use the inter-link techniques to reduce your bounce rate of the sites.

You can't. The whole consequence of Google doing constant updates is to ensure no site is 'safe' long term. Eventually, some of the updates will adversely affect the site. Your choices are now doing no SEO, or short/medium term SEO (WH or BH).

To protect your site from Google updates, I focus on building a solid foundation: high-quality, evergreen content that's genuinely useful to visitors. I make sure my site is mobile-friendly, fast, and offers a seamless user experience. Regular audits for broken links and outdated content are a must! I also keep an eye on the latest Google updates and tweak my strategies accordingly. Lastly, I avoid shortcuts like black-hat SEO and focus on sustainable growth.

To keep your website safe from Google updates, focus on high-quality content, ensure fast loading and build natural backlinks, and follow Google's guidelines to provide value to users.

It will always be affected when Google updates because it changes its algorithms. While organic backlinks and organic content are necessary, we must also focus on social media, etc. Content must be AI-free and unique.
