Not a necessity, but will definitely help adding authority. Most of my sites have zero .edu and .gov backlinks.

tbh i believe ezarticlelink works....i have been a gold member since around 2 months ago and I can see some of their links in google webmaster tools so yeah it is working...
 
hmmmmm you say you whore out h tags, but you only have 1 h1 tag and no h2+. So whats your real thought on this?

I joined EZL as a free member when I read this and added just one article to a domain, then basically forgot about it.

My site was around number 4 on google for it's main keyword. For several years it was number one, but around a year ago it began to slip.

I used another KW that I was ranking for on the second page and a third that as far as I know, I did not rank for.

Around 6 weeks ago I noticed I was back at number one/two for my main KW and around number 5 for the other two.

I signed up for gold, and added several more domains and a couple of lenses and am slowly adding articles to them, and sure enough they are all creeping up in the ranks.

Just have patience if you don't see results overnight.

Do you mean are the blogs still getting traffic?

To my knowledge I have never received a click from my articles EZL publishes on other members blogs. The point is because each article has three anchor links back to your site or blog, as the article gets published on more and more sites your site begins to climb the ranks for those keywords which brings the traffic-the traffic doesn't come from the articles per se.


Or did I misunderstand the question?!

My site is also ranking well on Yahoo for the three original KWs I used, which it never did in the past.
