How I get free content written by others!

it seems this is a good idea, but you need to give people something they want, then they may interesting in it, spend time to write something for you

Hi that's an interesting method I've never encountered before - great job! Still, I think it's relatively easy to find guest writers compared to finding sites that submit guest posts, so you really don't need to make it that complicated.

I've got a blog where we have guest blogging opportunities, and I'm bombarded with applications. We reject most as they're really low quality, still there's never a lack of demand and i believe that setting up write for us section guarantees you flood of guest writers.

There are also platforms like myblogguest that have extensive catalogs, where you can find writers for your type of content.

Nice method. If I can do this successfully with a new sports site and music site I am going to launch soon, then that would save my fingers and my wallet. I was thinking to increase the odds of people wanting to write for free, I was also going to create leaderboards, achievements, and a point system. All which can convert into either money or free products

I set up a "write for us" page last night. do most of them find your page searching in google, like "your niche" "guest post"?

OP's idea is real good though. And having them PM you the content is what you want so it's not duplicate content found on the FB group

Thanks guys. I've taken note about what some of you have said about it taking too long. Yes, did take a long time to send all the posts, but I'm now getting a lot of responses. I've since made a 'submit a guest post' page. But I optimised it, not for Google, but for scrapers and such.

I took this list of footprints from a post here on BHW - http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo/391926-best-footprints-find-guest-blogs.html and wrote my piece about wanting bloggers, etc. I made sure that I squeezed in enough of the terms so that you scrapers and others will find me easily! I expect to get a lot of $hit, but we'll see how that pans out.

On the plus side from my original idea, I got one guy who found my blog and wants to feature it on his website because he said he likes what he saw! He's doing a review of my site and he said he get's 2 million UVs a month. Looks like it might have paid off in the end! :)

I noticed that a lot of the groups also asked me to post my link to their group after I posted the original message. I got a load of visitors, likes, and shares too. Not a huge amount, but 150 new unique views from Facebook and I usually only get about 20 or so day. So there seems to have been a few good side effects too!!

These new views has given me something to think about with getting traffic from Facebook and I'll see how that idea pans out too.
