Hi guys, It's been almost 2 weeks since Fred kicked off. It is said it hit 2 kind of websites: those with really poor quality backlinks and affiliate websites. I am stuck to the second option and many of my KWs dropped from top 3 down to around 10th place. Today I fully recovered and am back on track. I've made some changes on my site, not quite sure which one (or maybe all of them) was the factor that brought me back, however it helped.

1. I limited the number of affiliate links on each page. Used to have 4-5 now I have no more than 2.

2. No more direct affiliate links on my website. I found out that all websites that outranked me use pretty links plugin or another plugin that creates 302 redirection. I think you can use bitly redirection as well.

3. I added more content however this is IN PARTICULAR important. If you write an article on "Where to get best epilator for women in 2017" and have no affiliate link at all on that page you still might be perceived as ad heavy website. Since most people in the top 10 for KW "best epilator" have affiliate links, Google knows that its purpose is to sell and you focus on niches which are purely affiliate.

I made some adjustments and now I have around 90% content which is non-profit informative and not connected with affiliation at all.

Hope it helps you guys as well, good luck.

Thanks and looks like actionable advice.

Will have a punt with one of my sites which has been knocked for six and report back ;-)

This seems like good overall SEO advice, with or without "Fred".

How it effect the results with seo please tell me .

Sounds like you might of over seoed your website.

Dunno mate, on my aff site there isn't a single article without aff link, usually 4/post. I use pretty link from the beginning tho. And when fred kicked in, all my ranking increased, so I don't think it's related to afflinks.

one reason of why your kw dropped its because u have a lot of adsense ads, check it and limit it to only 3 adsense blocks.

pd: if u only have afiliate links, there are plugings to
camouflage these afiliates links.
