I’ve been looking to sell my store that’s done $110k in sales since April, but i’ve decided on riding it out longer , till after christmas.
When people buy a business, they want to know if it has longevity, they want to see consistent revenue and margins every month too.
Which is why i’m running mine for a bit longer, having actual inventory and employees (even if it’s a VA) massively boost the value too.
For example, my store is projected to reach $400,000 to $500,000 by the end of Christmas, So id be looking to sell it for:
16X the monthly profit + 2X leftover inventory value
So around 380k to 400k.
Point being - you need to have an “actual” business for it to be worthwhile
