I guess it does! It also feels like if she used her heel for the kick instead of the toe, the guy (or girl? Can't tell) would be dead on spot. She literally saved him by not hitting with her heels.

Yes definitely. I think she hit him on the collarbone from what I could see. With the heel, I think that would have been broken at least.

Part of training martial arts is control of your body and your abilities so I guess its intentional that she did not use her heel though.
