How html developer earn money

no it all wp know wont work sorry .

plugin and themes are know the in thing.

it good to no html should be xhtml and in depth css .

How long have you been studying HTML and what are you a student in now. In terms of development HTML is one of the most basic things and you can learn the core of it in a few days.

You might be able to make a little bit customising themes or tweaking current websites on fiverr or people per hour etc but for full websites most people expect to edit the front end themselves through UIs now.

You have a skill, offer that skill to people who require it.
Join freelancing sites and look for jobs and projects that you have the knowledge and expertise to work on.

Hey sachintiwari, HTML is a good start for web development. I would recommend learning more about HTTP and TCP/IP to help to understand how the internet allows us to exchange HTML files with one another (AKA between servers and clients).

Also you should look at learning about Javascript, and potentially a web development stack (Ruby on Rails or the Microsoft stack).

Long Answer in Short:
1) HTTP and TCP/IP
2) Javascript and another web dev stack (such as Microsoft (ASP.NET and MVC)
3) Then finally check out APIs and other formats of data modeling for exchange between computer systems! (JSON, XML, etc.)

Start from where you are. Not many people have such skills. If you are good in HTML/CSS, you can make nice simple pages for clients. Also some themes. Just check a platform like Fiverr and you'll certainly find a space for you. By the time you leave school you'll have something concrete.

HTML is the lifeblood of the Internet. It has become easy but never outdated.

1: HTML5+CSS3 = beautiful pure HTML themes = sell on themeforest etc places
2: HTML5+CSS3+Javascript+PHP+Wordpress Core = beautiful Wordpress themes = earn millions on Themeforest etc places
3: HTML5+CSS3+Javascript = HTML5 games= publish to APP stores or sell your code online.
4: sell your HTML skills on Fiverr or Upwork etc places
5: forget about it

Yeah I thought it was funny how people are saying HTML is outdated!! It is still the backbone of the internet and will continue to be for quite sometime

HTML won’t ever be outdated, but it’s so basic and anybody can learn it fast nowadays so you can’t really expect to earn money with it.

Someone seems to be a decade late to this party!

one idea could be templates for sales pages or ebay, i've seen them for sale, maybe that's an avenue @sachintiwari could go down

My apologies, Sir, but I strongly disagree. Even experienced/full stack web developers will rarely come across a situation where they would require to communicate in a lower level protocol such as TCP/IP unless they're implementing a custom higher level protocol for example, which is quite rare. It would add nothing but confusion for the OP, especially since he's asking about HTML. Logical progression would be HTML5->CSS3->JS->PHP->MySQL. Once he learns PHP, it would be time to learn about the HTTP protocol, but TCP/IP seems a bit overkill to me.

While almost everyone is bashing HTML, as others have mentioned many seem to forget that it's the 'backbone' of pretty much every website out there. In addition, HTML is at it's 5th version which comes with A LOT of new features. If you want to start somewhere, HTML5 is the place to start. You will pick up on other things as you go (CSS, then JS then PHP then MySQL). 'Primal markups & languages' will always be around as it's the base of everything on the web and they're essential to know for any web developer. Don't think of any libraries/frameworks or any of that crap before you get the basics down. If you'll ever work in a corporate web development environment, it's not even a question, you must know this stuff or you're done.

So to conclude, whoever said it's a useless/outdated skill knows absolutely nothing about web development. Take this from a full stack web developer with ~15 years of experience in the field - both as a freelancer and corporate worker. Though, I have to admit "the 90' s nostalgia sites" joke made my day

First of all, I'm a web developer here and also do marketing myself. I know HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Javascript, & jQuery. To @redarrow, I'm kinda agree with you that WP is the shit nowadays but not really. Because there's still people out there including few of my clients that need a website build from scratch instead of using Wordpress. And To that one member that say HTML is outdated must be one of the dumbest member on here OR i'll say on earth?.. Lol

I told a hr to post for some job requirement for JavaScript, we ended up interviewing Java developers
