How hide DNS ?

Hi
I am using a VPN from a firefox addon and ipleak is detecting my isp provider DNS. Still when I am using also a paid VPN with his HybridDNS protection checked in his software still the DNS are shown.
I try changing my windows network to google DNS and changing IP to manual but still it to show my dns

Do you know about a firefox addon, good software or manual trick to hide my ISP DNS ?

Are you using OpenVPN tool to connect to VPN? If so you can download their "Anti DNS-Leak" .bat script and it will fix your problem
 
Manually update your DNS on windows to Google’s. This should fix it. It will show Google’s dns instead of your isp’s one.

Best thing to do is to choose a vPn where you login your whole system.

This is the safest way. An add on is not enough.

Get a VPN that resolve DNS.
 
Use your own VPN DNS servers, if they dontd provide one, sorry to say but your vpn provider is sh** unless you run it on your own, then change dns configuration in windows to any public DNS servers amd don't worry your dns is still leaking because of "DNS Cache" probably try clearing browser cache and history then run this command in cmd adminstrator "ipconfig /flushdns"
 
You don't want to HIDE a DNS, but to manually update it to something common. For example, I prefer 8.8.8.8.
 
Use Cloudflare DNS Server => 1.1.1.1 & 1.0.0.1 ^^

Cloudflare static dns is not good for me because it will be always same DNS. I need make reviews with serveral ips and his systems detect DNS but google DNS will be good option because his systems will know that DNS of google are used by many people so this system dont suspect the writer is same person.

I solved my issue in my router settings. Now the ISP is detected from GOOGLE BELGIUM :)

All GOOGLE DNS 8888 8844 IPs are coming only from BELGIUM for all Europe networks?
Out of curiosity; Is possible get Google DNS IPs from other country of Europe?

Changing from the router is the best option. Good to hear your problem was solved.

8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 are the only 2 DNS IPs for google that I am aware of. The IPv6 access are 2001:4860:4860::8888 and 2001:4860:4860::8844
If anyone else knows of others, please enlighten me.

Hi note google have not only these DNs

DNS Google USA
Primary: 8.8.4.4
Secundary: 8.8.8.8

DNS Google Belgium
Primary: 8.8.8.8
Secundary: 8.8.4.4

That's what I thought, it doesn't matter what country you are pinging at google, the DNS IPs are only those 2 options.
 
You need to use better vpn with dns protection and while you are using firefox you need to adjust settings from about:config

“media.peerconnection.enabled” - change it to "false"

Otherwise SSH tunneling will solve your problems, depends what operation you are running, might be an overkill.
 
I need use a DNS what are used by the majority of users in France and I think google is the most used
