How has this channel blown up so hard?

So this channel has blown up very quickly. The content is amazing - my main belief as to why it has grown so big.

Checking the person/people behind it, the guy made other very big channels such as REBOUND. It seems like the same guy narrates/edits the videos. The thumbnails are also on point.

Do you reckon there is something else behind the strategy? Botting, strategists, social sharing?

There is probably a wide network of promo such as shorts channels, social groups, social media pages.
The content and thumbnail is very good, but it is unusual to get such traffic from your first video.

Only 1k comments for a video with almost 4 million views? Thats wild. I wonder if hes using a private bot.
I have videos with 200-300k views with 1k comments and 10-20k likes. All organic.

I think the thing I've learnt most from this channel is the interactions aren't as important as people say.
As long as you can get those high retention views and ensure they watch the next video on the channel, you will continue to get suggested and recommended.

I completely agree, I'm also 100% confident that the CTR he gets from these thumbnails is the lead factor to why his videos do so well.

That's right, Comments/Likes/Dislikes on YT mean absolutely nothing at all to the algorithm.

The thumbnail was actual clickbait though. There was no mention about the image in the video.
But hey no one will complain or report or even if someone did Youtube would ignore it.

Doesn't Youtube crack on these type of thumbnails? looks like something that could put you at risk of demonetization or something

Also, how he doesn't hit by copyright strikes using these footage? "fair use" doesn't matter when bots auto claim even small cuts of a video.

Youtube wants to provide the best experience to people to watch the videos which maintain them on the platform the longer and makes them entertained.

If a clickbait thumbnail delivers a good video which has a high retention rate and good engagement, they will push it and the algo will push the video.

The way this guy is delivering the videos are good and I understand why his content is pushed and shared in mass.

I will definitely send this thumbnail and videos to my friend. :D

The problem is when the thumbnail has a high CTR but the bounce is very high also and the retention is shit... youtube will penalise you for this.

Not sure about copyright strikes, it's always grey and I never understand how youtube is sometimes judging to be honest.

On a side note, his voice is very good for commenting these videos. I applause this guy's storytelling for these videos.

I agree, his voice is top quality along with the editing. Just very strange to blow up so quickly!
 
a mixture of things most likely, whether it's a private bot, combination of thumbnail and title.

Nice, he has decent content (currently hooked in on one video). The voice sounds good and the background music isn’t too shabby either.

Everyone automatically thinks legit YouTubers are botting, it’s pretty pathetic to be honest. He’s clearly getting decent views due to all of the above, and the thumbnails are good I agree.

Reminder a lot of "legit" Youtubers scam there own fans for gambling sites and crypto. It wouldn't a shock if they got caught botting.
I remember one time I saw a big streamer caught botting 10k viewers on Twitch, can't remember his name but hes the asian normie involved with Faze Banks.
So lets not pretend that big Youtuber's don't bot.

Anyway it seems like hes losing viewers fast lately.

Could be any of these things:
1. Hes losing his luck with the algorithm.
2. His method of bringing in traffic whether bots or real is failing.
3. Youtube staff are here and investigating.
4. Content in the latest videos are not as good as the older videos.
