How has last weeks Google Images update affected your sites?

I have run into a multiple people in Adult who have seen their traffic drop down by half to 75% after the Images update this last week, personally I haven't had any of my sites or my clients sites affected in terms of traffic, but almost all of the pictures were re-designated into the specific porn category search. This is crazy....

funny you create this as a topic, because about one minute ago i noticed that one of my images that was bringing me a few thousand visitors alone per day has fallen out of search...BUT, another site picked up my same exact image (even linked the image to ME) and is now receiving the traffic from my image that i created for the post. i'm kind of stunned.

Hmmm, yeah that is weird, but I don't think that has anything to do with the image search changes. Mainly they just affected specifics in regards to content, ala not being able to search for porn unless you include words like porn in the search, etc. This greatly impacts traffic from persons who may not be able to outright search for porn to link to the sites they view it on.

Have they added a filter that doesn't allow non-porn related queries to go to porn sites? If so, you could host the same images on a non-porn site and cloak/redirect them to your porn site.

Yeah that is precisely what I am working on building right now for a few sites, but I think even keyword-optimizing the images to get them to appear in search, even if they're not hosted on the porn site itself, may directly cause them to not appear in search. I guess this will be a working experiment.

My porn traffic from g image searches actually increased by approx 15% in the last 2 weeks globally.
However visitor locations have changed drastically.
US dropped from 75% to 35%
EU noticeable increase, getting traffic from countries I never had a single click before
Others= i don't know since I just redirect them.

Huge sample size.

75-35 is a huge drop from one nation depending on your traffic level, harsh.

hey
i have a site for crack stuff
i was getting 1k a day around
now it dropped to 100-200

this is realy bad
IDK why is this happening
its more than 80% is decreased by now

I am getting less traffic from them
Not sure about image related ,caz traffic doesnot comes from image

didn't want to go into too much detail, but "breasts" is one of the longtail terms in the URL. Would that have something to do with it?
