If I have a keyword with mostly weak pages, but strong domains, how hard is it to overtake? Say like a youtube video.

Shouldn't be too difficult, it determines if you have KID, whats the age of domain etc.?
I've found domains with good age outperform KID many times.. (Keyword in domain).
Just use "quality" methods. i.e. don't autoblast your homepage of the money site, but blast links to web 2.0 sites that link to your site. or your interior pages etc.
