How hard is it to get verified?

There's an account I found which had around 400 likes at the time, now it has a couple hundred more, but has been verified. She said she just showed her website and link and that's it.

I tried doing the same thing but no luck Facebook took away my verify your page option as well.

I linked to my IMDB and other works as well.

There was a blackhat method for fb verification, you can search the forum or google, it's a bit tricky but can be done

I tried twice but they denied me despite providing business information, imdb information etc... Any idea where the link is?

I know most social medias only really verify small pages if they think there will be impersonators, copies etc..

If you're a public figure and have a fanpage, all you have to do is submit your ID.
It's alot harder to get verified as a brand / community page.

It's OK, he's only charging $2500 to submit a verification request via the FB Help forms...

I tried this, I provided my IMDB, my ID, everything they asked for plus more and they denied me. I have no idea why... Is it because not a lot of people like my posts or what?

I believe not, do you have a big number of fans? Facebook doesnt give the verification to anyone, you have to probe you are a figure with some level of relevance.
