I've found some keywords for which the featured snippet is from Wikipedia and all the other results are from quora and blogspot/wordpress blogs with no visible SEO.

The keyword is a question which is answered in the wikipedia page, the whole wikipedia page isn't about the keyword.

How hard will it be to beat wikipedia to it?

Seems like an easy keyword if quora and blogspot is ranking top 10. Should be possible to outrank wikipedia quite easily as wikipedia only offers limited info for this particular keyword as you said.

So do you think just a good 1000+ word article along with some guest posts and Web 2.0s will do the thing?

It's actually tricky. If you see Wikipedia on the first spot for a competitive keyword, then it's going to be pretty much impossible with a regular site. On the other hand, often times Wikipedia just ranks high on low competition keywords due to its domain authority and relevancy. In your case it's seems to be doable. Go for it.

Yes, It is. But it depends upon site's authority, age, content. As you provide more value to the visitors by your site then it's no longer looks like impossible.

Sounds like an easy keyword. Nowadays, Google prefers blogspot blogs over other sites. So, we can't say if your site can rank solely based on content. You need strong backlinks to outrank them all.
Wikipedia doesn't have priority #1 in ranking for many years. So, it's possible.

There is no point in copy-pasting them same message. You don't even get backlinks from BHW, if you're trying to farm accounts.

It's easy to rank no worries.

You have to make the article based on the question. So it will be in the featured snippet. That's when you can beat Wikipedia. Good luck.

You can beat pretty much anything, itt all comes down to your budget. But remember, it takes an Agera to beat the Veyron.

I've seen Wikipedia on the second page for many searches. It's not even a big deal.
