I have always wonder how google found our new website. We registered a new domain name, write some articles and then google found our sites. huh? Where did they crawl?
If we have not build any links, we didn't give them our site map.
How do they found us?

if you didn't submit the site map your webpage not will index on google. but nowadays if you didn't do google crawl within 10 days?

What kind of domain name do you have, an exact match or totally unrelated ?

This is something that always bother me. Like there would be plenty of websites with out a backlink and no sitenap submitted to web masters but still they are there in search

Have you ever opened your website through chrome? :anyway:

Search for your domain as an exact keyword, and you'll find a few backlinks.

There are automated sites that will list EVERY domain registration, renewal, transfer, update, hosting info, etc. Since those sites are crawled by Google, your domain will be found through that backlink.

Wow. There is no way to hide from Google.

Could be other websites linking to you like registrars, GOOGLE CHROME if you use that as browser and perhaps cookies that other websites put on your computer that track your usage data.

Please dont be that type of person that thinks google uses Chrome in order to rank based on bookmarks, crawl based on direct url input in url bar and so on.

Thats all fake, google are nice guys providing us the best search engine free of charge! :O :O :O

True... Same as they don't use their recaptcha service to teach and improve their own A.I. technology...

The robots or spider regularly crawl internet to find a new websites. Submit for index so that it will crawl easily.
Without sitemap, a search engine visits your website through links.

Are you using WordPress?
WordPress automatically pings search engines via pingomatic when you publish a new post, unless you turn it off and/or block search engines via robots.txt

In the WordPress dashboard, go to Settings > Writing > Update Services and remove the pingomatic URL to turn off automatic pinging.

To block search engines from crawling your WordPress site, go to Settings > Reading > Search Engine Visibility and check the box that says "Discourage search engines from indexing this site".
