How good is medium for traffic generation?

I wonder if anyone is actually reading what I am writing or it's just random posting with ai for nothing really, most replies are completely useless rehashing the same thing over and over again "it can send some traffic but blah blah"..

I think Medium is good for getting some initial exposure, especially if your content gets picked up by the right audience. I would not rely on it as my main traffic source though. I see it more as a way to build visibility and send some referral traffic back to my website.

medium can be a decent source of referral traffic if you publish genuinely useful content instead of treating it as an advertising platform posting consistently and adding value in comments has worked better for me than trying to promote a service in every article
