How freuqntly do you check bitcoin prices ?

Do you check bitcoin prices daily ? I have friends who have set alerts on exchanges for sharp rise or decline in bitcoin prices. I do not support this approach though.

I do the occasional glance through CoinMarketCap when I’m bored, probably a couple times a day. When I have spot trades opened up I do set price alerts for big up/down swings - to be able to catch them.

Most of Apps Wallets in mobile have Auto-Notify if bitcoin price it’s up or down.

Automated… every 15 minutes (but that’s also because of we accept payments in crypto for our SMTP services).

I hear ya on the daily price checks. Don't get me wrong, I like to stay in the loop, but freaking out over every little bump is just noise. Alerts can be handy, but I prefer to zoom out, focus on the long game.

If you are working with day trading you need to check it all the time
If you are just holding long run,avoid doing that, it can make you crazy

True that, if in doubt zoom out. Short term price movements are irrelevant. I do occasionally check CoinGecko to stay informed.
