How frequently does Google crawl your sitemap?

Last read Oct 10, I published 80 articles since that date. I'm submitting each new article for inspection and manually requesting index. Is it normal that Google crawls sitemaps this rarely?

Or maybe I should add /post-sitemaps.xml here separately?

Yes, these delays are quite normal in my experience..

Sometimes re-submision helps.

it's related to the performance, no. of pages, content update frequency, content volume, type of content, the way to submit URLs, etc.
not sure the impressions / clicks of your site, but for sitemap, it's common for small to medium volume (impressions/clicks, traffic, content) website

but it's better to add new / updated content URL into sitemaps

Crawling is based on various factors. Generally we can't predict when your URL is getting crawled. Sometimes it takes over a night or it will take months. There is no Guaranty.
