I create Instagram accounts for my OF models from scratch, and I like to grow with Instagram boosts, but I don't have any Facebook accounts connected to them.

How should I go about running ads on Instagram without having to deal with connecting a Facebook account? Should I create Facebook accounts for each IG account?

Can I add the card directly to IG and boost from there?

Or would it be beneficial to work with agencies that rent ad accounts?

You can boost directly from ınstagram by adding a card, but its limited and unstable at scale. For consistent ads and control, each IG should be tied to a proper facebook ad account.

And are those FB accounts provided by the agencies? Or do I need to create them from scratch?

I had problems creating them from scratch, I was getting instabanned.

I've had similar issues with creating Facebook accounts from scratch, and getting instabanned can be frustrating. Have you considered using aged Facebook accounts, which can be purchased from reputable sellers, to connect to your Instagram accounts for more stable ad management? Additionally, working with agencies that provide pre-verified ad accounts can also be a viable option, but it's essential to research and find a reliable agency to avoid any potential risks. What's been your experience with aged accounts or agency-provided accounts, if any?

From what I’ve seen, boosting directly in the IG app still relies on a Facebook ad account behind the scenes, even if you don’t manage it actively. Creating clean FB ad accounts or working with a trusted agency usually gives more control and fewer issues than trying to avoid FB entirely.

You're facing a common challenge! While linking a Facebook Business Manager is generally recommended, Instagram now allows some ad creation directly within the app for simpler campaigns. Consider testing small boosts directly through Instagram first; if scaling becomes necessary or targeting is complex, renting ad accounts from reputable agencies might be your most efficient route to avoid individual Facebook account management.

You can boost posts directly from Instagram with a card, but for scaling ads safely, using proper Facebook ad accounts or trusted agencies works better.

Boosting inside IG works for testing but its not built for predictable scaling once you care about spend control and longevity a clean ad account setup becomes unavoidable.

if i rent one, and i want to do ads on a fb fanpage & ig account. whats the setup for me owning both pages? and not the agency

Usually agencies provide ready to go business accounts with verified billing, which avoids the risks of creating from scratch.

For consistent growth and higher budgets, setting up a dedicated ad account per IG profile properly verified usually gives more control and avoids the limitations of direct IG boosts.

The safest option is to use Instagram’s native boost feature with a card added directly, or manage ads through an official Meta Business setup renting ad accounts usually comes with higher risk.

Boosting directly within Instagram works, but it's quite limited and prone to scaling risks. For long-term stability, it's still better to have Facebook and BM for more systematic ad management. Hiring external ad accounts might speed up the process, but the risk of losing the account and lacking control is quite high

IG boosts still rely on Meta’s ad system in the background, even if it doesn’t look like it. Creating FB accounts for each IG can work, but it adds risk if they’re not aged or verified, so many people prefer agencies

You can boost directly from IG with a card, but rentals or separate FB accounts give more control and reduce risk if one gets flagged.

To run ads on Instagram without connecting a Facebook account, you can use the Instagram app to directly boost posts and add a payment method without needing individual Facebook accounts for each IG account; however, working with agencies that rent ad accounts may also provide benefits like access to established audiences and optimized ad strategies.
