Considering getting rid of one of my MNS


How exactly do I give them the domain/hosting and all of that?

If your site makes more than $500 a month, I think your best bet would be to contact Meathead here on this forum. He specializes in that. You can also try flippa.

Sell it on this forums, flippa or even digitalpoint forums. People on those sites are willing to buy websites just give it a good price.

It's a new MNS.. Im just curious as to how I go about "GIVING" the buyer the domain and hosting?

Do you guys understand what I mean?

The domain/hosting is paid for by me/on my account. How do I give that to them I guess is the question

I've never sold a website, but I think you would just push the domain with godaddy or namecheap or w/e you use. As for hosting, I don't think you can give them the hosting, you can download the website (make a full back up) and send the files to your buyer.

Well, I am not sure but I think you need to provide details of your account and passwords of domain and hosting. Why don't you leave it to buyer, the person that will buy, defiantly will tell you what he/she needs.

First you need to take backup of site's files from cPanel (Actual files and MySQL database)

Then send this to your client and ask him to restore the files on his server.

Lol!!! As stonecold mentioned above that's one way to do it. The other is to request an EPP transfer code from your cpanel and pass it on to the buyer. Takes 5 - 7 days for the domain to be transfered.

For the website data, just do a backup, zip it up and upload to your domain FTP. The buyer can then transfer the files to their webhost. Should be fairly easy.
