I'm looking for white hat methods to promote a flash game site that I have. I need more visitors.

    I have done/am doing this:

    Internal SEO
    Directory submissions
    Yahoo answers
    Posting links on busy forums
post links on digg, delicious, stumbleupon
have fiverr guys post links on those sites from multiple accounts
post the link on facebook friends walls/my wall

Not sure what else there is to do. Am I missing something? Any suggestions?

Are you ranking for any major keywords already?
And I didn't understand, is the site flash based?

yes, the site is flash based.
The market is saturated for flash games so I have been focusing on posting links on social sites, which has got me around 500 visits a day.

I wouldn't even know where to start to try to get my site ranked well for google since there are so many sites like mine.

Flash is a major problem, you'll have to invest 50x times more in off-page SEO to compensate for the lack of on-page SEO.
Try to redesign the site so the landing page is html/php based with a lot of relevant text + make a blog on the site itself stuffed with relevant content.

Alternatively, you can open another site, lets call it 'the traffic attractor' and send the visitors to the game site from there.

Regarding backlinks, try Press Releases, a good press release submitted to paid PR site can attract a lot of traffic.

Didn't think of this. thank you.
Maybe I can record myself playing some of the classic games or something and post the video.

The site is php/html but hosts flash games. If you view the source, there is text for the names of the games and I have a lot of them on the front page. Do you think that is enough?
I'll have to add a module so i can blog and put a bunch of keywords in it.

I like the idea about the press release site. Would you recommend any good ones?

Its best to follow this strategy:

    - Pick some general keyword and optimize the home page for that keyword only, for example "online games" - the front page should contain content that is very relevant to this keyword.
    - For each game create a separate page with URL: onlinegames.com/gamename/ and optimize that page with content relevant to that game. Of course this is as long as "gamename" is something people actually search for.
    - The flash can sit on onlinegames.com/gamename/ , but you need 500-600 words content around it and some H1/H2/H3 to "strengthen" the presence in the eyes of Google. If you can add comments, even better. People will post the content for you.
    - From the blog link back to each game - these internal links carry almost the same weight as external ones.

Regarding press release sites - its niche based. Try to find recent press releases dealing with games on Google News. If the release in Google news it means that the PR site syndicates its content to Google. The traffic in most cases will come from there.

Thank you. I have a feature in my game site script that lets me make the url's SEO Friendly.
I'll try some general keywords. I guess I could use a bit more content on the pages. Even if it is just a footer or something.
I'll check out google news and see what i can find. I really appreciate the help.
