been out of the game for years, before I put in a bunch of work on this method.

Can some of you weight in on how effective this is still?

Was thinking a combination of tumblr's, pbn and livejournals.

Just don't want to spend hundreds of building before getting some input.
Any advice is appreciated, thanks. <3

Local keywords, and then a high competitive niche.

Seems to be working. Scraped about 10 tumblrs and created backlinks to the MS homepage from the profiles. This was sometime in Feb. 2 months later all my keywords moved upwards about 3 pages. MS site is about 2.5 yes old.

Expired tumblrs really work well. These type are the ones working for me. 100+ tumblr pbn .Also weeblys work well thought hey are harder to source

A few months ago someone shared a huge list of Tumblrs on BHW giveaway, and I registered like 30 of them. All good PA DA NA LA VA MA NA la la la...

Then, Tumblr had the whole thing where they removed all porn or whatever and made changes to their native feed and stuff, and I sort of gave up on utilizing those Tumblrs.

So Tumblr still worth fucking with? Traffic, SEO?

It's a great tool to have an online presence as Google indexes Tumblr posts. Because it's a sharing network, users can reblog a post hundreds of times. Unfortunately, only a few companies take advantage of its benefits.

Used to work very well for traffic. But eventually started deleting massively and now nada.

Tumbler is good source for get traffic.you can also use it for video sharing, blogging, image sharing, bookmarking.

I only have one tumblr blog, I post semi-regularly, and I still get some traffic from it. Not even sure I'm milking it 100%. It might be worth a shot.

I tried using expired tumblers about 10 of them. Checked the backlinks, seemed good, but never really saw any result with them.
Also I found that indexing can be tricky, as the home page does not update in google cache sometimes although the blog does.

It works low comp keywords. Nothing wrong building up link diversification too.

Yeah, they still do. They're being utilized for PBN (in huge numbers) these days and expired ones perform pretty well. The thing is that Weebly also has similar success rate.

Tumblr blogs have great visibility in search engine, and because users can reblog your content on their own blog.it increase the level of your blogs exposure.
