How effective is Ryan Nelson's technique for removing Ripoff Reports?

I'm new here so I can't post a link but you can get to it by doing a google search for ""black hat seo ryan nelson ripoff report" or "There Is a Time and a Place for Black Hat SEO. It's Called "Ripoff Reports"


How effective do you think this intervention would be? I'm asking because a stalker posted a false, malicious report about me on Ripoff Reports. I am pursuing this in a court of law. With a favorable ruling we
could try to get Google to delist it. Google "How To Remove Ripoff Reports From Google - Not Just Bury Them" note: BHW won't let me post direct link.

We should be able to win the legal case but it could take a year or more of litigation. I would like something to knock this report down now. That's why am asking the forum about Nelson's methods. I appreciate any input from forum members on ways to bury or get rid of a Ripoff Report.

If you get it removed what is gaurentee that pissed off client or stalker (whatever you call it ) will not post it and this time on more sites ? well to me burying seem to be only possible solution

you are right.; the person who is stalking me would probably create another ripoff report if we took this one down.; this person has already been arrested twice, convicted and jailed. and yet i'm still being stalked online and offline. there is a domestic violence restraining order in place but it only addresses this person having direct contact with me.; it does not cover indirect contact like ripoff reports. lawyers have told that i need to get a court to issue an injunction against this individual that would ban publishing anything about me online.so that's what I am doing now.the problem is that lawsuits can take a long time especially if the other party wants to fight it out and litigate everything.; everything in the report is so blatantly false that a rational person would not spend a fortune in legal fees to defend it.; but this person is anything but rational.i got a good SEO on this but ripoff reports are tough to deal with. the SEO I hired is more of a "white hat" firm though. I have come to this forum to find a "black hat" style SEO that will very aggressively do whatever it takes to remove or at least bury this ripoff report. yeah in this case burying may be better than removing it completely. this individual will just try harder to create more reports if this one disappears completely.

Better off hiring a company like profiledefenders.com for something like this as they can keep on posting and there is no proof that his method works.

I saw an article yesterday - about a woman who got crappy service - and didn't receive what she paid for - so she wrote a complaint on ripoffreport. Apparently the company she bought from had a clause that the purchaser agreed not to write negative comments about the company online as part of the purchase agreement.

So ripoff report wanted 3,000 to take it offline - and she was sued by the company and lost 3500 plus legal fees

Writing positives over a negative actually works - but these people who are really pissed at you when they see this happening will go to extreme lengths to write more things about you ... so yeah if its a one and done you can do something - but when dealing with irrational people - well you got to be realistic about it as well.

I have used a similar methods to get smut pages delisted.

For ROR a better method, IMHO, is to create a positive report disguised as a negative complaint. As a more recent *** complaint ***, it will displace the negative complaint in the serps. Takes a few month though.

For scams.com file a DMCA complaint. Dwarfi has had a few legal problems and would rather remove the complaint.

I have a DMCA complaint sent. It covers the images only not the text. Still, it would be nice to get those images out Google Images.

I thought about creating a bunch of ripoff reports that were completely positive to displace the negative one. I don't want to do that because you have to create an account on Ripoff Reports. When you do that and agree to their terms of service you have to forfeit all of your legal rights. I may end up suing RoR itself down the road if I can get copyright of the text transferred to me by the state court.
