It really depends on what you're promoting, but generally speaking they tend to be inferior to those from other platforms.

Redditors hate anything paid or promoted and most are savvy enough for adblock. Those without adblock are generally slow

There's a lot of bot traffic and the outcome is very inconsistent from niche to niche from my experience. That doesn't mean you shouldn't try though

Let's put it this way. Most of the clicks I get don't show up on analytics live view, unlike other traffic. I'm guessing it's fake or from bots in Reddit. Sounds very fraudulent

I’ve tried Reddit ads before—results were mixed. It really depends on the niche and how well the ad blends in with the subreddit vibe. But if you're open to alternatives, I’d recommend checking out MGID. I’ve run a few native ad campaigns there and got better engagement and ROI compared to what I saw on Reddit. Plus, it gives you more control over placements and audience targeting. Might be worth testing side-by-side to see what works best for your goals.
Reddit ads can work if I target the right audience. I think it’s good for niche products because people on Reddit have specific interests. I feel like it might be cheaper than other ads, but I need to plan it well.
I think it’s worth trying if I know which community fits my product.
