How does YouTube determine that the content is low effort content?

I think it's more related to your behavior
If your account is spamming several videos in a short period of time, those videos can be transcribed and they are pure garbage, their retention rate sucks and it uses AI images - in this case, you are probably exposed to low effort content restriction

AI content is garbage now for YouTube. They said they will not pay for such content.

This is not true, the problem is not ai content but low effort content.
How will they implement that is still everyone guess, but ai with great editing and actually effort Putten into it will be monetized.

YEAH a lot of examples:
Look at your feed, a lot of ai channels are still monetized (movie recaps, ai channels that teach people how to create faceless channels, ):

I have said this on another thread, but Youtube kills niches not ai gerated content, using ai voice and editing it will still monetize untill they decide to kill that niche.
Example: mouths ago you could monetized ai music generated from comments, but today you can't: year ago you could monetize raddit comments without adding your opinion on top of it but today you can not.

YouTube never said that AI-generated content is no longer monetizable. In fact, YouTube even provides AI tools that creators can use. As for the claim that “they said they will not pay for such content”, where exactly did YouTube say this? AI is a tool that helps creators make better videos. What’s not monetizable is content that uses AI to churn out hundreds of videos with no human input or creative value.

YouTube Probably doesn't know how to flag a video, AI or non AI, as "low effort content." How would a algo know the difference? Do they want to subject the entire platform to a manual review? I really doubt it.

I think it's closely related to your visitors' behavior. If YouTube detects that your audience isn't loyal or you're not retaining it, it will simply stop recommending your channel.

It's the reposting of an existing content on the platform or stitching others' contents without adding more personal input to it. They really just want creators to have some creativity lol.

Low retention rate + AI generated images + AI thumbnail + the transcription indicates that the whole video script was generated by AI + AI voice...all that combined makes clear that your channel is low effort.

Yes that's true. there was a channel of mine where there weren't much input from my side, and that caused lot of issues for me.
