How does wholesale work?

Anyone who done this? I live in Europe and thinking of importing hats from a wholesale site in the US selling them here in Europe on a site for 20$ bucks more, which are cheaper then the most hats even with the price im selling them for. Is this legal to do?

Why would it be illegal? Buying something cheaper to sell for profit? That's what a business is. However, I don't think the US will be your cheapest supplier.

I mean, is it just ok for me to open up a site here in my country and start selling things much cheaper then the other stores? Do you know where i can find some cheap suppliers then? On google i only found the US ones.

It works by using more than just 5min. on google before making a thread and asking to be fed.

Maybe try joining a whole sales forum and see if they would like to feed you with such a general question.

And how would anyone know your countries import/export rules. We dont even know what country you are from. Come on now. Seriously.

Find out where the hats are made. A lot of hats are made in Central America (depending on what type of hats, obviously) so if they come from somewhere like Peru or Panama then of course it would be cheaper for you to get the hats direct from there if possible.

On the other hand, I'm sure there is such a thing as an American hat factory...

But in principle, yeah as someone said of course it's ok to set up shop and start trading. Just make sure that you're registered for tax or whatever is required of you in your country.
