How does TikTok chooses target location? And how to change it?

I have read that TT uses your sim card to detect location.

I travel a lot around different countries, how does this work then?

Basically, if I want to target UK users I need a UK card? What if I connect to another country's Wi-fi?

Perhaps you have found out a better solution on 'how to target a specific country'?

If you connect to another country wifi, you will see some content posted in that country but you will still be able to target UK Audience because of the UK card.

What if I want another country?

Do I uninstall the app or reset the phone and then put a specific country's sim card inside to get the first launch through that card?

Are there any ways without the sim card? Perhaps you know what happens if I have two sim cards inside one phone.

If you want to specifically target the UK audience, you should use UK-based 4G mobile proxies as they will give you your desired traffic. You can look for those in the marketplace or post in the "Want to Buy" and the sellers will ping you for sure.
 
TikTokers choose target location by using proxies - Mobile Proxies. The internet connection would go over the proxy making you show like you belong to the country where the mobile proxy is based.
 
You can work via Wi-Fi via VPN without a SIM card. First, remove all traces of your geolocation from the phone.

Can I just login in tiktok via web browser use mobile proxies and be good with it? (without swapping sim cards)?

Can I register a new TT account (with german sim card) and then use mobile proxies to reach users in Spain?

Without changing sim cards but only using mobile proxies, will it work?

Could you tell me how does the 'trace removal' work?
 
To work, you must have a separate smartphone. Reset the settings to factory settings. Remove all applications, and especially those that use geolocation (maps, clocks, all google apps ...) set the region and language of the desired country.
