Alright I need some help cracking this code, nothing malicious or nothing bad. But it's bugging me...

Ok, here it is. If you go to Slickdeals and Make a Thread. You can Vote "Thumbs Up" or "Thumbs Down". So I logged in to my regular user name, posted my "freebie thread", and voted Thumbs Up.

Seeing how other people were thumbing me down for no reason. I wanted to "Thumb Up" my Post...

SO.. I created a username and registered, go back to my thread and bammo, says "You've already Voted".

Normal, so I Change my IP address. And I clear all my browser history/cookies/cache etc. I even Clear my Flash Cookies.
And I Register a New UserName. I go back to Slickdeals and it still says "You've Already Voted".

HOW DOES IT KNOW!?! HOW!? I cleared everything! I've even changed my Ip address! and Flash Cookies!

Someone Please HELP me on this!!

Masking all of my information? I don't know what you mean. What is that? And how do I do it? Btw, I'm not using a Proxy over my IP address. I'm just switching normal IP address.
 
It's unlikely, but try sMAC; they might be looking at your MAC address. Also re-open your browser window.
 
Ok I tried switching MAC Addresses on my Wireless Adapter but I cannot, using this Laptop/Wireless Adapter.
So I'm asking, is there any other clues or solutions besides changing MAC addresses?

Ok, I did some research and I learned that websites can't even see your MAC Address. So can someone else please chip-in? thanks.
 
Ok, so I changed my IP address several times, made new accounts, and switched browsers... even in IE on a different IP address it still says "You Still Voted".

What else could it be tracking?? i'm perplexed.
 
He already tried switching his MAC, and unless you have an add-on installed, or explicitly allow some sort of activex scripting in internet explorer, web servers can't record your MAC anyways.

They're probably wildcarding the last 3 digits of your IP to prevent you from just releasing and renewing. Get an anonymous proxy, create a new account with it, try to upvote and report back.
 
This has got brought up a billion times, but to clarify, a website cannot detect your MAC address.
 
I tried this and it did not work. I tried:

1.) Switching IPs
2.) Clearing Cache/Cookies/ETC.
3.) Clearing Flash Cookies.
4.) Uninstalled Java.
5.) Switching Browsers.

And it still recognizes me... still says on a new Username:

"You've Already Voted".

I'm going to try VMWare But I still would like to know what is causing this.
 
As Cahoud posted, try it with firefox and install the FireGloves plugin.

It could just be your footprint: OS version, screen resolution, browser version, etc.

Maybe yours proxy are not anonymous; You can check this here : www_iprivacytools_com/proxy-checker-anonymity-test/
 
Check if you are using elite proxies.

Also try it in icognito mode on chrome.
 
Look outside your window. Do you see black vans?

Slickdeals may be a front for the NSA. Watch your back mate. They KNOW.
 
They do seem to have a hidden cookie that you failed to delete. Many software vendors use that. You need a good tool to remove all software or website traces.
