How Does This Site Fake Its Forum View?

If you go to the sub forum and check out the threads, the views are obviously fake. There's just no way there are 3786 people currently viewing that sub. Most threads in there get little to no view. How did they fake the view count? Also, this forum ranks first for the term "pickup forum". Do you think google algorithm take into account forum views in their ranking?

I'm not sure about the views being fake since Simple Pickup is a huge YouTube pick up channel with millions of subscribers and gets millions of views so I wouldn't really call the views on the forum fake. Maybe it just doesn't have any engagement compared to its youtube comments and Project Go membership.

I think its using some traffic to paid to click sites.
