How does this scam works?

Its actually a common scam with different things everytime different situations, usually a soldier, sometimes lottery popular in my country, not going to go into it, but google is your friend.

Basically at some point you give them money to get the money like pre pay tax or fee or postage or crap like that. What is amazing people fall for that still.

As for scam technique: It's called advanced fee scam I believe.
In advanced fee scams, the scammer tries to persuade the potential victim to offer a sum up front, which is comparatively small to the potential prize (5.6 million).

As for the sales technique: The email swipe is purposefully written like this.
Don't be mislead by the poor English. Many 3rd world nations know English, yet it's common that scams from those places are horribly written.
This is to shave off any email recipients who are too smart to deal with. There's some study about this online.

Bottom line is - if the recipient is dumb enough to notice nothing wrong with the horrendous email, they are also dumb enough to fall for an advanced fee scam.

Typical scam method.

They will send you stolen money from hacked bank accounts.
Then, will ask about withdrawal and will left a "bit" for you, then they will disappear.

Then the Police will come to you, as the result you'll go into the jail.
Because you was enough stupid to believe in this fake history.

Cheers, Greg.

Thank you to everyone for the clarification :)

Also in addition to above mentioned ideas,
They steal your bank info (acct number) from either the check or money wire transfer, because it shows up on there.

Just all around bad stuff.
