How does this Magento social widget affect SEO?

Have a small query regarding extensions such as the following - http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/facebook-and-twitter-widget-comment-and-share-your-products.html

It allows a social share button on the page for twitter and add the ability to comment under the product. I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me as to how this can affect SEO?

Does it have a positive/negative/neutral affect?

They will all help generally. I think that one has a hidden monthly fee though I might be wrong. There is a cool one that is free and allows you to give a discount for each Facebook like off the total at checkout. PM me for details.
