Sure like the layout/functionality

Extremely expensive = a lot of money.
The forum is not a one off install but rather updated on a regular basis as well as using boutique plugins for functionality.
We have an entire staff that handles that and they get paid a good buck as well they should.

fair enough, perhaps a dubmed down version and obviously not as intricate as this one or is that something that isnt even a consideration.

The ones that maintain it and update it all the time are full time BHW guys so I do not think they are part of your solution but I would bet there are some people out there that can create some kind of facsimile for you.
