How Does Temp Bans Work?

I am running 5 accounts on a fresh ip. After a day, 4 accounts received comment bans. Ok, cool. I'll wait. It's almost 2 days. When I tried to comment again using FL, I still get the 'feedback require' message. So I login in using a different ip for the accounts that cannot comment using my mobile. I CAN comment with no warning messages.

Is IG temp banning based on account and ip? If so, if I use a different ip, I will ok again? My comment bans usually last 12 hours before it is lifted. However, this is taking longer than usual.

BTW, these are new accounts created by me.

Normally the comment ban lasts 24h. Try to change your ip or see if there's captchas on the accounts that needs to be solved.
 
For some reason or another, my comment bans for these new accounts are pasting the 24 hrs mark. It's working on different ip with no captchas. My comment bans in the past last 12 hours max. It seems IG has raised the bar and upped their penalty box.

IG hasn't raised the security, my account keeps running fine
 
just dont do more than 50 action in a hour for fresh accs
 
On my last try of these 5 accounts, I run the task of liking and commenting. It finished ok, but when it start back up about 6 hours later, the likes are ok, but IG ban comments. None of the accounts didn't have a chance to comment one time. But out of the 5, 1 account is running fine with the same settings.

10-20 limit
300-350 daily limit
50-60 delay

comment
5-10 limit
100-150 daily limit
60-90 delay

I should have waited longer after the task finished. I didn't because the last ban was lifted that night and my task was scheduled to run 6am -11:59pm.

IG is being really hard on the ban with these accounts it seems.
 
If 1 account is banned using one ip, they will ban all other accounts using the same ip within seconds; also if you change the registration ip or the country more than once or twice within a short amount of time, you'll get that feedback message.

Well, that sounds reasonable, but these 5 accounts are running on the same private ip. One account is running fine with the exact same settings. The other 4 are banned from commenting but the likes are running fine.
 
try to use only 4 on same IP, write here if it help.
Is your IP's are not blacklisted by instagram ? Use only instagram approved proxys.
 
Generally you shouldn't run more than 3 accounts on the same ip, according to my test after 3 accounts, sooner or later you start running into problems. That said, they might have additional limits for commenting that you ran into, the fact that the ip is being used by multiple accounts could have contributed to this.
 
I guess it varies by accounts. I am running 10 accounts total. 5 on my isp and 5 on private ip. This private is good as I have verified with the provider. I will try again to wait at least 12 hours between task.

If not, I will reduce down to 3-4 as suggested.

Usually the ban takes 24 hours from the time given :) Some bans can be lifted ealier, but i think regular is 24 hours.
 
If that is the case, my ban should be lifted in about 10 more hours.

In the meantime, I tried to add another new account to this ip address. I first stopped one of the accounts from running. Added this new account to the list. Right off the bat, I wasn't able to comment. It looks as though IG has ban the comment on this ip for any accounts. Of course, that one account running on the same ip is working as I mentioned above. It is still liking and commenting with no issues.
