How does recurring commission is tracked?

I am not sure how clickbank tracks commissions for recurring billing products.
Say I promote a membership site, does clickbank pay commission based on the initial hop purchase?

Since cookies are for 60 days.

Cookies have nothing to do with recurring commissions. Simply put, when the customer buys a product, all of their information is stored alongside your affiliate id. When they get rebilled, the affiliate id attached to the original sale will be automatically credited.

You're confused, 60 day cookies are only useful when someone HASN'T purchased anything yet. Once they have, as stated above, Clickbank links you with that customer just as it would the author or original publisher.
