@Mods please transfer this to the proper sub-forum not sure where to put this.

BTW, I'm running a marketing service and I do encounter customers who applies a dispute on paypal even though I delivered the service they bought. I'm asking can I escalate this to paypal, is there a risk of ruining my paypal payment method in doing so. I'm not sure how paypal buyer protection works.

Thanks for the help.

sorry but online services are not liked by paypal and its your fault

So this means I can get my account banned if I raise the issue?

If you sell social media services (you posted in this section), PayPal doesn't support that anymore, so your account can get closed.

Apart from that, if a buyer decides to scam you, there's nothing much you can do with intagible items, which don't require shipping to physical address. As proof you can only use emails and screenshots of stats for instance before and after you delivered. Even all this aren't always enough and if we take into account, that PayPal doesn't support this kind of business anymore, the chance to win these cases are pretty slim and you always risk account ban by drawing unwanted attention to yourself.

Bend over and prepare the lube. You will not win disputes without a tracking number generally speaking. Intangible goods never have seller protection.

Consider it a cost of doing business.

I see. Thanks for the reply.

So this kind of disputes should be a part of my costs in doing the business. Nothing more I can do?

Also, I don't want to risk my account getting banned. That sucks.

Like Honeybird said if you're selling digital services it's not covered by PP. Buyers can dispute every sale and you're screwed.

You could insert a middleman, like 2checkout, into your sales funnel. Maybe that could give you a layer of protection. Not sure though, scammers can still dispute your sales.

The only 100% secure solution is to develop your own payment processing system. Your bank or credit cards company likely have an API that you can use to develop your own payment system. Ask them about it.

Is there any other payment processing system aside from paypal?
