I found a pay per call for $14.50/lead duration must be 2 mins so as long as the caller stays on the line talking for 2 min I get paid $14.50?? Orrr??? Who would they be talking to. Automated system or a real person?

Usually they'd be talking to a real person. The company that is paying you $14 is probably selling a product/service and all they need is 2 minutes on the phone with the client to sell it.

I deal with something like this for car dealers. In the system that I am working with, the call has to last over 60 sec. but at the end of the month, the car dealer can review their calls and say it was a bad lead or something so they do not get charged for that phone call that came in. When I was dealing with posting the cars online and getting phone calls back in, I think that I was getting like 10% of the calls I got paid on returned as bad, it was more watching and making sure the dealer was really working the calls and not just saying hey let me get your info and I will call you right back. So they the calls would stay under 60 sec.

    Hi OP,

Yes, this method of generating revenue does work and pays out very well :)
You can say if the selling process is professionally done under 2 minutes and having the ability to say close 3-5 deals daily, either you receive a fat paycheck or move on to sell your own products.

    Here's what I know:

1 - Pay per call numbers go to a call center where users are connected to agents that follow a script they wrote in order to sell the client a product.

2 - The length of the call depends on how long they estimate a caller should be on the phone in order to properly generate a relevant lead for that product.

3 - The caller doesn't need to actually buy the product for you to receive a commission (or you'd be getting a much higher payout).

4 - You need to maintaint a certain free lead to paid conversion ratio in order stay elligible for the offer. This varies from network to network.

5 - Its a great way to make money offline and online. All you need to do is advertise a phone number.

I think you only pay $14.50 when the call reaches 2 min because that is the duration that they need to make a close, or at least get them interested because people who aren't interested in a service won't take them 2 minutes to reject a sales call.

I think they are real people.

From what I understand, here's an example: customer goes to Google search on their mobile device. If they click on an ad words ad, it gives them an option "you are about to call number 1-800-xxx-xxx". Or, another option is if they click onto your lander, in which there's a phone number on the LP to call. If customer calls and stays on phone call for x amount time, then the affiliate gets compensated.

But the question is... why would someone go to your website to find a phone number... when they can just go to google and find the phone number at the top?

Not the ads... but like you know when you type... "autozone in washington dc"... it has like 5 autozones with their numbers and addresses...

i know thats not a good example but u know what i mean righT?

I think in this case the phone number will find the "someone". :)
Somebody is looking for something else but will get a tempting ad to call and voila...

It's best to strike up direct deals with advertisers and do pay per call that way.
