How does outranking backlink (RD) work?

So basically if a link has 1 domain you only need 2 or more RD to outrank.

But what if the link has 1DA90 and the two other DA50? Is it still possible or do you need more?

Also does it matter if the backlinks used relevant to the niche or not?

No, that's not how it works.
You need powerful links to rank, the more the better.

A website with 10 backlinks may outrank a website having 100 backlinks if those 100 backlinks are from shitty sites and those 10 backlinks are from powerful sites.

Power being determined by google (only), not by DA or other metrics that are only estimations using other algorithm from a third party (ie. Moz is not Google)

Also keep in mind that is not the sole ranking factor.

Do you think 5 good backlinks is enough to outrank 1backlinkk?
 
Always shoot powerful links irrespective of the rd and dr if you have strong links then you’ll be able to take it down in the long term

Would you mind explaining strong links? Do you mean links relevant to our niche?

Thanks. Among those three I only struggle with PBNs as many claim that you will kill your site with it but then again I see people having success with it. Kinda 50/50 at this point

cheap $1 pbns yes they’ll kill your money siye, well kept pbns and especially homepage ones will send your ranks to the sky they’re bit costly but worth it

Quality and relevant links have much value. It will help you to outrank other site which has more low quality links and gives benefit for long term.

The answers is: we don't really know. There are a lot of factors to consider: the backlinks, the authority of the domain, the content, keyword density, anchor of backlinks, etc, etc.

Maybe you just need 2, maybe 6. Build a few, then wait for the changes to be reflected (weeks or months), then add more if needed.
