I've seen onlywire mentioned in the blogging section a lot and thought I should add it to my ever growing blog farm. I signed up with the free version and installed the plugin into my wordpress blog. My understanding is that whenever my UAW adds an article to my blog the plugin will automatically submit to the accounts I've setup in my onlywire account.

The problem is that I don't see how the plugin know's anything about my account on the onlywire site. The website said the plugin would place their button on my website but didn't say anthing else really. I don't see where I configure it on my blog to know what account to use.

I'm using onlywire 'cause my understanding is that it will help autogenerate backlinks.

You create an OnlyWire account on their site, and you put your login info for each site (Digg, etc) in your OnlyWire account. You then plug your OnlyWire username and password into the plugin in Wordpress - I believe it's under Settings -> OnlyWire options.

OnlyWire has been so-so for me. It hasn't posted to Digg or Reddit at all, and the sites it has attempted to post to, the posts don't always go through. I also noticed that the OnlyWire button that appears at the bottom of each post (which you need to install yourself, it doesn't do it automatically, and you are required to have it) slows down the loading of the page quite a bit. I will probably stop using this plugin soon once my blog starts to get organic traffic.

Let me know if you have any other questions, I messed with this for a while the other day.

I figured there must be another plugin. The one I have on there now is called 'onlywire button'. And I see what you're saying about the delay in displaying a page. I can't beleieve they're not trying to fix that.

Can you tell me what the name of the plugin is? I think I'm just running the button plugin - I don't see anything about onlywire in the settings page where I would expect to find it.

I too have saw the name Auto Social Poster come up a bunch of times. Although I have yet to see it in action. This is definitely the type of plugin I need.
