How does one get started in this?

This looks super interesting.

Is there any relatively easytoread guides I can chill and glance at to get my head around?

I know site flipping is the art of reworking and revamping a site. But how? Do you have to direct traffic there to sell it or is it just a pretty domain name which sells? Help me out here guys. Lost my job yesterday and desperately trying to get some cash. Thanks!

If you're a newbie, I wouldn't jump right into site flipping. You should probably do some amazon affiliate, adsense, or CPA. Learn how these sites m0netize and make m0ney, and do it yourself, and learn everything you can about it. This is essential before you start site flipping. I would just start looking for a real offline job. IM is a b!tch, and can take a lot of time before you see results. Site flipping is also very risky if you don't know what you're doing.

If you just lost your job i don't think a quick solution is to buy a website and try and make money on it. I would have a look at the money making section first.

Even $10/day will take some time and work. I barely make $200/month with all the stuff I do, but I am learning every step of the way. And there once was a time when I only made like $1/day..

If you want some fast cash now, you can try looking into doing fiverr gigs. Or start selling on ebay.

If you are thinking this is going to be an easy spoon fed, copy and paste, then make $10/day on autopilot type of thing.. you are sadly mistaken. And anyone who tells you that is just trying to sell you an ebook. IM takes some work. I suggest you start reading the forums and taking in as much as you can... but honestly, you should be more focused on finding a real offline job. Get your life and situation stable, then try taking internet marketing as a hobby, until you make more than your day job.

I've been following a guide for Pinterest related beings. My blog is (I'm aware, but it's just for you guys to view) puushthrough.co .uk, as you can see I'm just posting it all there taken from recipes & popular section in pinterest, reposted to my site and then repinned, I started this about 4-5 hours ago, and been updating my analytics to show hourly, I've had literally no pageviews and one repin on my very first pin. Is there anything you're aware of you could possibly help with?

Would not agree with this. If he does not a have family to support he has nothing to loose. Stable situation, stable income, stable...I say this is bullsh!t. There is nothing stable in life, one day you wake up, other you wont. I do know it is hard to start working online then you are desperate and broken, I been there. Push yourself to the limit and you will succeed. Stay with one method and test the sht out of it.

I would recommend getting a job to get yourself back on your feet. IM is not really the best place to start if you're desperate for cash. It will be much easier if you can at least pay your bills first.

Agree with meathead1234, get a Job. If you have enough savings to cover your outgoings for 12 months then you might be OK.
IM can take time before you see any returns.

I would suggest to start with thinking of a topic, for which you can produce articles and buy a domain relevant to it, then buy some shared hosting, install Wordpress, pick a theme and start your blog, apply for adsense when you have many high quality articles, carefully build backlinks and wait until the site starts bringing some money, (this can happen even in 1 or 2 years), in the meanwhile you can try searching for a job, IM takes a lot of time and dedication to see good results.

best solution to you, get a quick job, here and there earn some cash find a stable job and then you can get started on IM buddy. Ive been there too and im still learning about IM thank god im a programmer

But at the same time it is not advisable to jump into buying website and start, but you can try adsense or cpa first.

To be successful on site flipping you have to know what a buyer looks at a website before he/she buys it and how you can improve those things. Let's take flippa for example, most buyers at flippa look at 4 things: Verified adsense earnings, verified analytics traffic, pagerank and domain age, these four are ranked respectively in response to their importance. All these four can easily be manipulated with many manners. The most difficult is verified adsense earnings but even this is doable. It is said that 1/3 of clicks are fake so you understand what I mean. If you manage to have descent stats in the above 4 you can make a lot of money(Right now, you can find sites on flippa with 20$ adsense earnings selling for 1500$ or more). About the importance of the domain, I don't think it matters a lot when you are selling websites but the value of it is added in the final price(theoretically).
