There is a lead generation platform, advertising itself as a search engine for capturing targeted SEO leads. You add some keywords, location etc and BOOM, it gives you a list of leads. So i was wondering, how they do it? Google operators, scraping job listings?

PS: I won't mention its name for obvious reasons.

The platform does what it promises though, these leads are indeed looking for SEO.

maybe they are gathering data from multiple data selling platforms and offering them on their platform with new filters
 
Is the tool free or paid? I would imagine such a tool to be quite expensive.

Anyway, I've done something similar in the past. One solution is: there are time-bound searches you can perform on google, twitter and other websites for users themselves looking for seo services like

"I want seo"
"I need seo"

when I say time-bound I mean within the past day, week or month and as far as location I'm sure one could do something to cover and incorporate this.

You are working with APIs and it's not easy to do.

Real advice:
Use your skills to generate your own leads. There is no better lead that the one you qualify yourself for your business.

Forum Guru Advice:
Buy cheap leads and sell seo contracts. Then outsource the work cheap from the marketplace and collect the checks
EASY $$$$$
