How does instagram ban urls on bio?

If I put a bit.ly shortening on bio linked to domainname.com/1234
Instagram may just ban shortening link only or also domainname.com/1234 or even worst the whole domainname.com ?

In case they ban the whole domain, how to get unlimited chances to have the domain on bio if they get bannes fast?

Namecheap has .club domains for 1 $ or something right now . I've never had a domain banned from bio but if you don't care what it ends in you could buy a bunch and just re direct them and replace when they get banned .

he's right, just go and purchase a cheap domain name, redirect them
 
If you don't mind using a blogger blog, those can't get banned. Well, they can, but only the custom part of the domain name, if that happens, you can rename the blog.
 
I have very bad experience.

My Instagram was working great about 500-600 followers gain per day with 8-10% engagement ratio.

Then I made mistake. Added goo.gl link in bio at night


Morning I see, my account is not available.

Do they bun the exactly url or they ban the whole domain name?
If I set a bit.ly shortening url to a doman, do they just ban the bitly url or also the redirected domain?

My opinion it's to buy a cheap domain. If you use short url maybe you look suspicious.
 
Nothing wrong with short urls. Everyone uses them. Make sure to use prelander before main landing page if doing bh. When you add link , first one to access link is facebook bot . They won't ban domain unless hundreds of people spam it like networks locker url .

You can use tumblr as prelander . Even instagram has option to connect to tumblr account so its trusted by instagram.

they will ban your domain. their bot will just go through the bitly to your domain to see if its "legit". the bitly link itself isnt banned directly
